A couple weekends ago, we attended our very dear friends wedding. And this time it was as guests - not as photographers! Well, Mike was not only a guest, he also played the very important role of officiant. For this reason, he knew a brand new suit was in order and since I, of course, needed to match his attire, I found myself the perfect little maternity dress to compliment his dapper look.

Mike based his selection on the colors the couple choose for their big day - navy and marigold - and wanted to be sure to pick something that complimented the groom rather than upstage him. He went with a classic navy blue suit, navy shirt and bow tie. The pop of baby blue from his pocket scarf was the same color as the maternity skater dress I wore. Although, I usually tend to choose brown as the accessory color when is comes to complimenting blues (especially navy), we both wore black shoes this time around. It was a wonderful spring day and a great excuse to get all dolled up!
