I can't believe it's already been a full year since our baby boy's arrival! I thought time went by fast after having Vada, but now that there's another kiddo in the mix, I'm pretty sure this year went by twice as fast.

I began thinking of a theme for Dallas' party a couple months back and decided on a vintage tattoo theme. Vada had recently taking a liking to temporary tattoos and I love the 50's era, so it seemed to fit perfectly.

Almost every piece of the party was DIY, from the invitations, decorations, cupcake toppers and Dallas' t-shirt which read "17 years until my first tattoo." I bought diner style food trays and checkered paper to go inside. The kids had an absolute blast with the temporary tattoos. I tried to keep things simple so I wouldn't stress myself out and actually be able to enjoy the party and that I did.

I know Dallas will have no memory of his party, but my hope is that he can look back at all the photos and see everyone that came to celebrate with him and know that he is loved so very much!
